Publisher Frontier Foundry and developer KeokeN Interactive released the new story trailer for Deliver Us Mars, the third-person sci-fi adventure game coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on February 2, 2023. The new trailer shares more about the narrative beats of the game as it takes players on a very special science fiction journey on the surface of Mars. The trailer follows the story of Kathy Johannson, now an adult, on her way to her own mission to Mars. Deliver Us Mars is a sequel to Deliver Us to the Moon, in which Kathy was a child. Some years have passed since then, and now Kathy must steel herself to complete a mission to ensure the survival of the human race.
Deliver Us Mars is set 10 years after the Fortuna mission in Deliver Us to the Moon. During this period, humanity has grown ever closer to extinction. However, a mysterious distress call from Mars, the ship Zephyr and her crew must go to the red planet and recover the ARK colony shops stolen by the mysterious Outward.
Kathy’s journey as one of the crews of the Zephyr takes an emotional toll, but she must resolve herself if she wishes to save humanity. In her journey, she must cross the harsh and unforgiving terrain in a quest to discover the many secrets left behind by Outward. Kathy must use both brains and brawn to overcome the taxing challenges, find the missing ARKs, and uncover the motivations behind the distress call that brought the Zephyr to this desolate and lonely place.
Developed by KeokeN Interactive, Deliver Us Mars is the second in the series following Deliver Us to the Moon. That game follows a lone astronaut as he descends on the moon’s surface as a way to prevent the extinction of the human race. He searches for an important resource, which can seemingly replace the severely depleted ones on Earth and save humanity.
