On Wednesday, Diep.io released an update with a new Necromancer tank class. But how do you get it and what does it do. Find out the details, here.
Diep.io, which is quickly becoming the next Agar.io style game sensation, just got a major class update, which includes the addition of a high-level class called “Necromancer.”
What Does Diep.io Necromancer Class Do?
While at first the class appears to do nothing special -- it doesn’t shoot (at all) or move quickly – but if you ram into a set of shapes you’d normally be shooting at, that’s when the magic happens. Those shapes suddenly become you minions, heading in whatever direction you send them with your mouse. As the crash into other squares, triangles or pentagons, they become an even larger part of your hoard, making an incredible shield or leveraging sizable damage if they head towards an enemy.
How Do You Get The Necromancer Class In Diep.io
The Necromancer class is an upgraded version of the Sniper class. You can choose the Sniper class once your tank reaches level 15. At level 30 you upgrade to Overseer and then at level 45 you have an option: Overlord or Necromancer.
The Class is definitely an interesting one since it doesn’t allow for any kind of shooting to take down enemies but rather controlling shapes and other tanks you’ve destroyed. The jury is still out on how strong this particular upgrade is, but from our perspective, it seems like quite a powerful upgrade if used correctly.
If you’ve played as the Necromancer and have some tips or strategies for getting the most out of the new class – or any class for that matter, feel free to share them in the comments or email c.harbison@idigitialtimes.com. If we like your strategy we’ll share it in our next post – and give you props for the tip of course.
