The Division’s 1.2 update doesn’t have a release date yet, but Ubisoft developers have been hinting something might be coming next week. This comes via the company’s State of the Game stream, by way of VG247.
Also in the stream, Ubisoft detailed all sorts of new information about the 1.2 patch. One of the biggest changes is a fix to the Phoenix Credits cap players are forced into right now. Once patch 1.2 comes, players will be able to hold 2,000 Phoenix Credits instead of the 1,000 limit there is now.
Additionally, the next Incursion mission, currently called “Broken Circle,” will have a Gear Score of 150. The map in-game may say 220, but it will be 150. The mission name will also be retitled before release.
Patch 1.2 will also focus on rebalancing gear and talents. These will include minor tweaks, so don’t expect a new talent to appear. As for an update to weapons, Ubisoft developers said there will be a dedicated weapons update coming after the 1.2 patch that will rebalance all weapons. Get ready to have to figure out a new play style!
As for other fixes mentioned on the steam, VG247 listed what else players can expect with patch 1.2:
Bug for the Sentry Gear Set automatically targeting players during the Dark Zone will be fixed
Bug where players don’t receive weekly rewards for the Falcon Lost Incursion will be fixed
Brutal talent will be nerfed
Balanced talent will allow quick scoping
Forced talent with Sentry Gear Set will change
Reckless talent will “work properly”
Performance gear mods to be buffed
The introduction of a Toughness character stat will combine Health, Armor and Stamina
Armour cap will be increased to 75 percent
VOIP indicator will now be in the UI
Again, no release date has been mentioned yet for the patch, but Ubisoft has teased we might find that out next week.
