Earlier today, the Xbox One file size for Doom Eternal was revealed alongside some information on how gamers can choose to download the game.
According to the official Microsoft Store page, Doom Eternal on Xbox One has two downloadable parts: one for the single-player campaign and another for multiplayer. The store page states the campaign for Doom Eternal will require 39.03 GB of free space and 38.74 GB for the multiplayer. This means in total, Xbox One gamers will require 80 GB of free space on their console to download both the campaign and multiplayer, Battle Mode.
Given the huge size of the game, it is a great decision to allow players to download which part they choose to play first.
After the massive success of Doom 2016, Doom Eternal has planned to take everything that made its predecessor successful and ramp it up extensively. The story of Doom Eternal involves demons invading Earth and it is up to the Doom slayer to slay them and send them back to where they belong.
Doom Eternal is set to launch on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on March 20. The Nintendo Switch port will release later this year.
