Dragon Quest Heroes 2 is headed to Europe and North America, Square Enix confirmed this week, and we’re less than six months away from seeing a localized version of the Dragon Quest Heroes sequel. Best of all, there’s a new Dragon Quest Heroes 2 trailer, featuring some of the cinematics we’ll see when DQH2 hits PlayStation 4 next spring.

Our first look at the Western version of Dragon Quest Heroes 2 doesn’t include any gameplay footage. But that doesn’t mean it’s devoid of new information. In addition to confirming the return of several Dragon Quest Heroes characters, including Alena and Maya, the new DQH2 trailer offers an early look at some of the new additions to the franchise. The next Dragon Quest musou game will continue to pull in fan-favorite characters, like Torneco and Gabo, and give players control of more than a dozen characters from across the Dragon Quest timeline.

As some fans already know, Dragon Quest Heroes 2 has been available in Japan for several weeks, meaning we don’t have to look far for additional information on the game. Those who’d rather avoid spoilers might want to stick with official trailers and screenshots for now. But anyone who doesn’t mind learning more about the events of the game, and/or the many Dragon Quest characters we’ll meet during the journey, doesn’t have to look far for more information.

For a closer look at Dragon Quest Heroes 2, take a few minutes to watch the new trailer from Square Enix. Then head down to the comments section and let us know if you’re planning to pick up Dragon Quest Heroes 2 at launch.

Dragon Quest Heroes 2 is in development for PlayStation 4. The game debuts April 25, 2017.
