Elden Ring Version 1.13 Features Various Buffs to Skills, Summons, Weapon Types, and More!

Elden Ring's latest update, version 1.13, implements various buffs to the game, including boosts to skills, summons, and various weapon types.

Developer FromSoftware's latest patch to its highly popular soulslike that will affect both the base Elden Ring game and the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. The studio also surprised fans as the newest update is 95% buffs instead of nerfs to various aspects of the game.

In a detailed patch note, FromSoftware listed down all of the improvements that will affect players' equipment, Ashes of War, spells, incantations, and AI summons. Probably the most major boost is on Spirit Summons.

Following the implementation of version 1.13, every single one that is listed in the patch notes will have their stagger improved. This means that it would take more hits to stagger them after they have been summoned, according to PushSquare.

This lets them take more hits and land more of their own strikes against enemies. On the other hand, the Warhawk, Land Squirt, and Spirit Jellyfish will have more health following the update. And with the expansion, various NPCs have been given increased stats when summoned.

These characters include Needle Knight Leda, Pureblood Knight Ansbach, and Thiollier. Additionally, all Spirit Summons, excluding the Mimic Tear Ashes, will have higher attack power and can take more damage after reaching level five of the Revered Spirit Ash blessing.

With regards to equipment, one of the changes was there is increased poise damage of normal attacks for various weapon types, such as Light Great Swords, Backhand Blades, Hand-to-Hand Arts, Beast Claws, said Bandai Namco.

Implementing Various Buffs

Also, the poise damage of dual wield attacks for other weapon types, such as Straight Swords, Thrusting Swords, Curved Swords, Katanas, Spears, Whips, Fists, and Claws. The pose damage for Claws of the Night's throwing attacks has also been increased.

But in terms of nerfs, there is a decreased backstep invulnerability window when the Fine Crucible Feather Talisman or the Talisman of All Crucibles is equipped onto a character. The latest update also increased attack power scaling when upgrading certain armaments.

These are Shield of Night, Euphoria, Golden Lion Shield, Golem Fist, Smithscript Greathammer, Spread Crossbow, Ailment Talisman, and the Clarifying Horn Charm up to +2.

Many players are welcoming the breadth of buffs that FromSoftware has implemented into Elden Ring and its Shadow of the Erdtree expansion.
