The Elder Scrolls Online has just announced a massive update containing 30+ hours of new content, a new playable class and much, much more. Morrowind will be available for PS4, Xbox One and PC players on June 6.
Called Morrowind, the new ESO expansion will take place on the island of Vvardenfell, also known as the Black Isle. This is the primary location for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, so veterans to the series may find some familiar locations.
Acting as a prequel, ESO: Morrowind will feature over 30 hours of new story content. There will also be a new playable class called the Warden. Based on the trailer above, Wardens have magic powers, fight with basic weapons, and most importantly, have the ability to control animals. The trailer showcased a Warden with a big bear ally, wrecking shop on some Dwarven Spheres.
Additionally, ESO: Morrowind will come with a new PvP mode called Battlegrounds, and a new Trial. More information on these will likely be released before the big June 6 launch.
Pre-orders are available now if you want to get access to a bonus pack of goodies along with the expansion. The Discovery Pack will come to all who pre-order, and includes an exclusive Warden outfit, a Dwarven War Dog pet, treasure maps, experience scrolls and a Dwarven crown crate.
For those who have already been playing ESO , it will be possible to just upgrade to the new content. If you haven’t played yet, Morrowind, along with everything else released so far, can also be purchased in one big bundle. According to the Xbox Store, the Morrowind upgrade will cost $39.99, while the full ESO bundle will cost $59.99.
