Fallout 4 DLC continues to release, and Contraptions Workshop is the latest add-on to play with. The DLC is available to download right now, so here’s how you can get tinkering away on new machines as fast as possible.
Make sure you have bought the Contraptions Workshop DLC or Fallout 4 Season Pass
Install the DLC
On Xbox One, go to the Fallout 4 page on the Xbox One store, find the Contraptions Workshop DLC and download it
On PS4, go to Fallout 4 on the home menu and press X. From the product page, click related items, then my add-ons to find the DLC
From Steam, right-click on Fallout 4 in your games list, select view downloadable content, and make sure Contraptions Workshop is checked
From the Fallout 4 start menu, go to Add-Ons to make sure Contraptions Workshop is installed
Launch and enjoy
The Contraptions Workshop DLC will allow players to create their own working machines and complex structures. Players will have access to things like elevators, greenhouse kits, fireworks and even logic gates to allow for all sorts of crazy construction. Expect to see some Minecraft levels of creativity coming from Fallout 4 players over the coming weeks.
