Fallout 4 is out, and you can play it RIGHT NOW! How exciting is that? However, now that people can finally play Fallout 4, they are probably wondering how to make the best and strongest gear possible to dominate the Wasteland. Thanks to this crafting guide, you now have all the components, perks, and other information you need to get that awesome item.

Gun Crafting Tips

Character Tips

So you want to be a gunslinger, eh? Good choice, this play style is safer and oh-so-satisfying when you pop off a Raider skull from far away. That is, if you have the right tools to blast folks at a distance.

First off, since this is a character build with multiple options, you should have points scattered across several stats. If you want to craft the best guns though, you'll need at LEAST a 6 in Intelligence.

From here, you'll definitely want to focus first on the Gun Nut perk. This will unlock access to many early gun mods. There are four levels to Gun Nut, so make sure you keep adding points to the perk when they become available. Keep leveling up and adding to your skills until you have a high enough Intelligence to get the Science! perk. You'll also need all four ranks in Science! to unlock all of the best gun weapon mods and upgrades.

Item Tips

Now that your character is all ready to craft, make sure you have the right components and supplies. Gun crafting is a little different than other crafting, because each section of a gun can be upgraded. This means that you can craft a better barrel for your gun, or perhaps a larger stock to improve accuracy. Make sure you tinker around with all of the components you can mod to create the best and most powerful gun you can.

Along with a base weapon such as a pipe gun, laser weapon, or something even bigger, you'll need other supplies like adhesives, aluminum, and screws. The metal and gears and things are all pretty easy to come across in various toys, buckets, and other things like that. The real trick is getting enough adhesives.

ADHESIVES CRAFTING TUTORIAL

If you can't find enough Wonderglue or Duct tape around the Wasteland, you can still craft adhesives. First, get plenty of Tatos, Corn, and Mutfruit. From there, stock up on as much purified water as you can find. If you can't find any, you can cook three dirty waters to make one purified water.

Once you have Tatos, Corn, Mutfruit and Purified Water, go to a cooking station and make Vegetable Starch. This will give you a whopping 5 adhesives to craft with.

From there, just follow the spreadsheet below. All craftable gun mods can be found, along with their properties, what they need to get made, and the weight and cost of each mod.
