FIFA 21 is now available worldwide for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. At launch, the game is said to already have at least 3.6 million players. This latest addition to the franchise brings new additions to Career Mode, while also offering players around the world the chance to try the Volta Football street game mode.
The new additions to Career Mode offer additional depth in matches, transfers, and even training. It also gives players more ways to control team growth while also making it easy to start their managerial career. Features include the Interactive Match Sim and Player Development, both of which are key to taking control of your season. Meanwhile, there is also the enhanced opposition AI, which comes with more informed AI decision-making in marking, tackling, passing, and dribbling.
Volta Football, on the other hand, brings players to the streets and gives them a chance to add needed star power to their teams with the Volta Featured Battles mode. Get the chance to play a game against icons of the sport like cover athlete Kylian Mbappé. Players can also face off and play alongside boxing champion Anthony Joshua and DJ Diplo. With the Volta Squads mode, players get to enjoy a more social street soccer experience. Here players team up with up to four other friends to win in 5v5 online cooperative play.
FIFA Executive Producer Aaron McHardy shared in a post that what makes FIFA 21 enjoyable is the ability for everyone to play together with family and friends. He added that “this year we’ve added a number of ways to team up on the virtual pitch across Volta Football and FUT.” Players should be excited as well for the new features added to Career Mode, McHardy said.
