The first major update for Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is out with the release of version 2.0. Final Fantasy Brave Exvius 2.0 will add “a new story arc, a new Esper and gameplay improvements that will benefit both new and veteran players,” according to a Square Enix press release.
Final Fantasy Brave Exvius has also reached a global milestone of 20 million players. In order to celebrate, all players will be able to recruit rare characters by participating in a free 11-summon draw, which the press release notes is “the largest reward ever given to players in the game’s history.”
Final Fantasy Brave Exvius features turn-based battles and an original story that may prove a draw for players waiting for more Final Fantasy 15 DLC before returning to the series fold. The mobile J-RPG also allows you to fight aside series faves like Terra and Vivi.
Here are some details on the new elements added to Final Fantasy Brave Exvius in version 2.0:
New Story and Esper : Continue the deep narrative as the heroes of the game adventure further into the world of Lapis and reunite with old friends and allies. Additionally, players can obtain a new Esper, Odin, by completing a side quest.
Gameplay Enhancements: Additional feature updates include an improved summon function, a newly renovated quest menu and guides to aid players when gathering crafting materials. The home screen has also been revamped to allow even quicker access to menus and allow for a better play experience.
Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is available now via the App Store, Google Play and the Amazon Appstore.
