Five Nights At Freddy’s: Sister Location has been released on iOS. We’ve got all the juicy details and a download link for the final mobile version of this creepy, fun game.
Just like its Android counterpart that went live in December, Sister Location for iOS costs $2.99, and it includes all of the content found in the current PC build of the game. That means it features the proper death minigames, Custom Night levels, endings, extras and juicy lore tidbits you’d expect to find in this spinoff installment.
For those asleep at the wheel, Five Nights At Freddy’s: Sister Location is the fifth main installment in the viral horror series, and it builds off the convoluted story mostly established in Five Nights At Freddy’s 4.
However, unlike its predecessors, the gameplay mechanics of this one are pretty different. Each individual night presents the player with a totally unique challenge that’s almost never tied to the typical activity of watching security cameras. The series’ reliance on jumpscares and quick trigger fingers is definitely still around, but it’s presented in a variety of new and interesting ways. When the game first released on PC this past October, it was mostly appreciated by its community as a breath of fresh air.
Those changes also come with some significant narrative rewards too. Without spoiling too much, as long as you’ve been following the theories, this game probably offers more plot answers than any entry to date. Want to know who the Purple Guy is and why he’s killing so many innocent kids? Look no further. It’s all here. Despite its new cast of animatronic foes, there’s lots of updates on older events.
We’ve covered Sister Location pretty heavily over the past few months, so it might help to read our theories about the game, as well as our guide to help you through those troubling latter nights.
With the Five Nights At Freddy’s: Sister Location port process now essentially finished, it will be interesting to see what its sole creator, Scott Cawthon, does next. In addition to contracting console ports of the Five Nights At Freddy’s games, there’s also been discussion of a second novel and the developing Warner Bros. film project as well. Scott’s not done with this universe quite yet, but is its basic story complete? We’ll have to wait and see.
Five Nights At Freddy’s: Sister Location is available from the iOS App Store [here]. It’s compatible with iOS 8 or later.
