The first extended clip from Game of Thrones Season 6 debuted this week on Conan. An expansion of a single shot from the Season 6 trailer, the clip takes place at Castle Black, where Davos Seaworth guards Jon Snow’s body from the traitorous Night’s Watch men who killed him in the first place.

So why is it so important to guard Jon Snow’s dead body? Probably because Melisandre is in the next room readying the resurrection goo.
In addition to Seaworth’s pre-combat politesse, the clip features a whole lot of Snow’s direwolf, Ghost. One persistent theory of Jon Snow’s resurrection in the A Song of Ice and Fire book series is that Jon Snow warged into Ghost, his soul now trapped inside the direwolf like Kenny McCormick trapped inside of Rob Schneider.
While Ghost is featured prominently here, warg action has been less a part of the Game of Thrones series, making it more likely that Jon Snow’s return will be thanks to Melisandre. The name of the first episode of Game of Thrones Season 6 is “The Red Woman.”
