A new update is now live in Goose Goose Duck, introducing players to the new Ancient Sands map. This early access map costs 50 gold and features new game mechanics and new roles.
One of the things that players can expect in the new map is the mummy. This is a new sabotage which summons a mummy that targets the nearest player indiscriminately. Once the mummy makes contact, it kills the target and starts chasing the next closest player. By the way, once a mummy comes across a door, it kicks that door open.
New Content
Speaking of doors, the ones on Ancient Sands work differently compared to doors on other maps. While they can still be closed and reopened after a period, these ones can be opened from the outside. Specifically, the Street Urchin Goose can open doors from both inside and outside a room.
Meanwhile, the outdoor portions of the map are now periodically covered by a sandstorm which reduces vision. To regain vision, players need to find shelter in buildings. As a tip, the Tracker Goose can see the location of all players outside at the beginning of the sandstorm.
What else is new? There’s the Warlock Duck that can unleash locusts on a specific building and players who are trapped inside once the countdown ends get killed. However, it doesn’t have access to normal sabotages like other ducks and need to work with a partner to properly trap geese with the doors sabotage.
Finally, there’s a forbidden passageway found in the pyramid and it houses a magic mirror which allows ducks (or pigeon or mimic) to view other locations remotely. This can also help Warlock Duck in targeting others remotely.
Goose Goose Duck is a social deduction game where players and their fellow geese need to work together to complete the mission. However, malicious Mallards and other birds have infiltrated the group and are doing everything they can to stop the team. Features of the game include:
