Ladiva has been added as the seventh character for Cygames and Arc System Works’ upcoming 2.5D fighting game, Granblue Fantasy Versus.
A closed beta test for Granblue Fantasy Versus will be ran from May 31 to June 1, and applications are now available. The game will be launched sometime this year, but an exact date has yet to be announced.
Granblue Fantasy Verus is based on the roleplaying video game from the Granblue Fantasy series developed and published by Cygames that was released for Android, iOS, and Web browsers 5 years ago. The fighting game features original gameplay that was set to appeal to both Granblue Fantasy and fighting game fans.
The latest addition to the characters, Ladiva, is a Draph duelist. She is the star of the Jewel Resort Casino Liner. She is described as a pure hearted, compassionate, and loving woman. She is devoted to her loyal fans, and she possesses unrivaled strength that attracts the audience.
If you haven’t met the other characters yet, let's give you a quick introduction. First is Gran, a hero who travels the skies with his flying lizard-like friend, Vym, and his savior Lyria. Second is Katalina, an ex-imperial knight who left her post to save Lyria from cruel experiments made by the empire. Third is Charlotta, a Harvin knight, and also the captain of Lumiel Order of Holy Knights. Fourth is Lancelot, a swordsman and the captain of the Order of White Dragons of Feendrache Kingdom. Fifth is Ferry, an Erune girl who became a spirit after death and is now looking for her sister. Lastly, there’s Lowain who is fairly good with daggers. He is an easy-going guy who ran into Katalina and was infatuated enough to follow her.
