If the rumors are accurate, the anticipated GTA 5 Import/Export update is expected to arrive on Dec. 13. Rockstar teased the new update, describing that "another opportunity to expand your hold on the city awaits." The Import/Export update will involve stealing expensive cars, modifying them and selling them back for big profits. Rockstar also hinted "it will take talent, coordination and the tactical use of some brand new Special Vehicles to get the job done, all while staying one step ahead of the police and rival challengers from across the city and countryside."
According to reliable GTA 5 tipster Yan2295, the December update will introduce 25 new vehicles. A purported list of vehicles also surfaced earlier this month as well. That said, the GTA 5 Import/Export update surely has more to offer than vehicles, right? What about some festive Christmas content? According to a new tweet from another GTA tipster FunMW2, Christmas content is definitely coming as well:
"New Adv mode called 'Turf Wars,' and I can confirm new Christmas clothing and masks coming with Import/Export DLC," FunMW2 tweeted. "No new weapons."
Turf War seems to be a throw-back to a game mode from GTA 4, where two or more teams may play a timed capture-the-base map that involves taking over each others land for the longest period of time, The more bases a team owns, the more quickly the cash score increases and the team with the most cash award at the end wins. Cash scores are strictly rewarded for capturing bases, not killing enemies.
There's no doubt the GTA 5 Import/Export update is shaping up to be a big one, but it's strange to learn not a new single weapon is coming this month. 25 cars and motorcycles and not even a simple melee weapon is in the works? The introduction of a new Adversary mode only makes the ommision of weapons in the update even more strange.
Stay tuned as we expect to learn more about the new GTA 5 update in the days ahead. What are your thoughts so far on the rumors for GTA 5 S
