Ever since its release in 2013, Rockstar never missed a GTA 5 DLC in the month of December. Obviously, this December will be no different. The Rockstar Newsire shared new details on the latest Import/Export update, which will bring exotic car theft to GTA Online:
"Savvy CEOs know there's always more for the taking. While Special Cargo business in Southern San Andreas is booming, another opportunity to expand your hold on the city awaits. With GTA Online: Import/Export it's time to muscle into the lucrative and specialized field of high-volume exotic car theft."
Import/Export will build on the supply chains of the Further Adventures in Finance and Felony update and add new criminal pursuite for CEOs to expand their organization. Essentially, Import/Export is as simple as stealing a very expensive car, modifying it, and selling it back for big profits. However, GTA Online gamers are probably aware that missions are rarely ever simple or straightforward:
"It will take talent, coordination and the tactical use of some brand new Special Vehicles to get the job done, all while staying one step ahead of the police and rival challengers from across the city and countryside," Rockstar said.
Rockstar also announced that Import/Export will introduce a new Vehicle Warehouse, which will house all the vehicles you'll steal in the new GTA 5 update. The Executive Office Garages boasts three floors of showroom quality storage for as many as 60 vehicles. The update will also introduce customizable décor and a Custom Auto Shop for your new garage.
Rockstar also teased an "all new Special Vehicles" and a "unique breed of vehicular mayhem and destruction" will be brought to GTA Online.
What are these special vehicles? We're not sure yet, but notorious GTA 5 tipster @Yan2295 shared some interesting tweets:
Via Yan2295, approximately 25 vehicles are coming to the next update, which will reportedly include a Dune buggy with a ramp capable of scooping and throwing cars up into the air, a Boxville with armor plating and a turret, a Ruiner with a guns and rockets, an amphibious Blazer quad with dual machine guns, an amphibious Technical with a turret and a Voltic with a huge rocket engine in the back.
Finally, Rockstar has yet to announce when the GTA 5 Import/Export update will release, but Yan believes the date is most likely on Tuesday, Dec. 13. Christmas and holiday content is also unknown at this point. Check out some screenshots from Rockstar below and stay tuned as we expect to learn more in the days ahead.
