There may be a chill in the air, but the good news is that there are no Dementors in sight. After the valiant displays of teamwork last month, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is treating all wizards to some well-deserved seasonal festivities. However, there is still the need to look out for the Calamity as it continues to conjure some iconic Christmas memories from the wizarding world.
Here's what's happening this December in Harry Potter: Wizards Unite:
- Christmas Calamity Brilliant Event Part 1: December 3-10
- Get to relive the winter wonderland of the Hogwarts Yule Ball and be reminded of couples like Hermione and Viktor, as well as Hagrid and Madame Maxime.
- December Community Day: December 14
- Give Hagrid a hand as he cares for his magical creatures by helping him return Foundables from the Hagrid’s Hut Registry Page.
- There are also special Portkeys that will take you to Hagrid’s Hut in order to unlock some of the rarest magical creatures.
- With the cold air, be sure to bundle up and stay warm as you’re out adventuring.
- Christmas Calamity Brilliant Event Part 2: December 17-24
- This time get to reflect on Yule Ball memories from Ron and his friends. These include memories of Parvati and Harry along with Fred and Angelina.
- 12 Tasks of Christmas Event
- Join in the holiday revelry by completing 12 Tasks of Christmas and then exchanging special holiday Gifts with friends.
- Keep updated by tuning in to the game's social media channels.
Update 2.7.0
The December events arrive just in time as this update allows players to send and receive gifts with friends. Gifts can contain ingredients, runestones, and even spell energy. That's not all, as players can now link their Harry Potter: Wizards Unite to Facebook and be able to add Facebook friends that have linked their accounts as well. Finally, the Yule Ball is set to be even more exciting as wizards can now take AR Photos with the Self-Playing Harp.
