The Expanse Season 2 premieres tonight and it’s not an episode you want to miss. We’re going to meet a fan-favorite book character, Bobbie Draper, right off the bat and probably get a good glimpse of Mars. (Check out our interview with the show’s creators about Bobbie Draper’s role here ). At the end of The Expanse Season 1, things were getting steamy in the Rocinante between Naomi and Holden, though with all the explosions and bioweapons, we didn’t get to see how things left off. It’s time to check back in on their relationship status tonight at 10 p.m. on SyFy. So here’s how to watch.
For once, it’s actually easier to watch The Expanse anywhere besides the U.S., Canada, and New Zealand. Netflix acquired The Expanse for global distribution, which means Season 1 is available in full to stream in countries outside of the U.S. While The Expanse Season 2 won’t be available to stream in full until after the season ends in those countries, that’s a better situation than what cable cutters have to watch the show here in the U.S.
If you have a cable subscription, or have access to one, you’re in business. Watch The Expanse live on SyFy.com by logging in with your providers information. You can also go through your internet provider’s app or website to watch SyFy live.
Watch next-day with the app SyFy Now. With a cable subscriber login, this app (available for iOS, Android, Roku, Xbox, and more) will allow you to watch SyFy shows such as The Expanse and The Magicians the day after they air.
For you cordcutters out there, the only way to watch The Expanse live without a cable subscription is to sign up for Sling TV and add the SyFy channel to your lineup. This will cost you $25 dollars per month.
So there you have it. Unfortunately, there are not as many options for cable cutters as other premium channels, so many of you may have to use some of your own crafty devices to watch the premiere. If you need a recap of The Expanse Season 1, check out ours here.
