The Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge were announced last Sunday and the Korean manufacturer brought out its best marketing chops for three new ads for the Galaxy S7 Edge in particular. The ads highlight many features that are on both the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, including water resistance, expandable memory and improved low-light photography.
The first ad, entitled “Why” features many celebrity cameos, including Wesley Snipes, Lil Wayne, James Harden and William H. Macy posing questions about the limitations of their devices, which are obviously answered on the Galaxy S7 Edge. Lil Wayne wants to know why he can’t be a carefree and opulent celebrity who can pour champagne over his phone. Wesley Snipes wants to know why his hands can’t hold files of his 145 action movies. Meanwhile a hipster wants to know why he can’t have a large screen device that also fits in the pockets of his extremely tight jeans.
The next ad addresses the water resistance on the Galaxy S7 Edge and how most things around us are either made of water or surrounded by water. The final ad addresses the low-light photography on the Galaxy S7 Edge and all of the things people do in the dark that are hard to capture for posterity due to the limitations of low-light photography on mobile cameras.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will hit markets March 11 and is already available for preorder at major carriers and retailers.
