The Cloud II Wireless from HyperX has custom-tuned virtual 7.1 surround sound capabilities. Combined with the 53mm drivers, this allows for clear and rich sound, which is not only good for gamers but also for those working from home. This wireless headset broadcasts at 2.4GHz and has a wireless range of 20 meters. It also offers a battery life of as much as 30 hours.
In a statement, HyperX V.P. of Sales and Marketing Larry Gonzales revealed that in coming out with this new product, the goal was to give customers a wireless version of its best-selling Cloud II headset. Gonzales went on to say that this wireless version has been “designed to carry on the legacy of the original Cloud II, which was first introduced in 2015 and shook up the industry with its iconic design, comfortable fit, and best sound for a headset in its price range.”
The Cloud II Wireless gaming headset makes use of a durable aluminum frame along with an adjustable headband. The ear cups features a pliable leatherette finish and even plush memory foam. All of this ensures that customers experience that signature HyperX comfort. To give it some added convenience, the Cloud II Wireless has intuitive earcup controls that lets users adjust volume, access a mic mute button, and even activate mic monitoring.
That’s not all since, according to HyperX, the headset also comes with “a noise-canceling detachable microphone that reduces background noise and the effects of plosive sounds for improved in-game and video conferencing chat.” Meanwhile the design is flexible enough so that users can position the microphone to their liking.
This gaming headset is compatible with the PC, PlayStation 4, and the Nintendo Switch.
