Infinite Warfare is finally here and some players are having trouble redeeming the Bullethawk Pack, double XP and other codes that came with valid pre-orders and promotions. Activision recently responded to customer complaints in a tweet.

The message, while brief, reads “we are aware that players are receiving ‘invalid code’ with Hellstorm & Bullethawk codes. This should be resolved in the next few hours.” As it stands right now, most cases of this issue have not been fixed. To make matters worse, those eligible for double XP or digital soundtracks either haven’t received a code or have been supplied with one that’s not active. In short, many pre-order bonuses, season pass bonuses and daily bonuses simply aren’t working right now.

Hellstorm and Bullethawk are two Infinite Warfare pre-order bonuses that come with the game’s Digital Deluxe Edition. They feature a unique weapon camo, calling card and reticle purely for aesthetic purposes. Because so many of them can’t be redeemed, we haven’t seen the perk in action. Double XP is popularly obtained using codes on marked Monster energy drink cans. On the official promotion page it states that it may take 48 hours to get the redeemed bonus, but Activision is still working hard to address the issue as quickly as possible.

Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare launched earlier today to positive reviews. It currently has a Metacritic score of 81. While players expressed frustration over possible pay-to-win and supply drop weapons yesterday, most of those complaints have since subsided.

Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare is available now on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
