The release date for Injustice 2 was just announced for May 16. Now Ed Boon, president of NetherRealm Studios, has taken to Twitter again to tease fans of upcoming content for the fighting game sequel.
UPDATE: The Injustice 2 beta is now open for registration.
Boon released the following image on his Twitter account with a bit of a tongue-in-cheek comment that seems to hint at an upcoming beta for Injustice 2 . Take a look at the tweet below.

While Boon doesn’t outright say that Injustice 2 will receive a beta, the image is missing the greek symbol beta, which has the gaming community foaming for a chance to get their hands on the game before the May release.
NetherRealm Studios will have an Injustice 2 stream on its Twitch channel on Jan. 24 to reveal a brand new character and how they play.
The story trailer for Injustice 2 revealed quite a few new characters in the upcoming fighting game including Brainiac, presumably the big bad for this title, Poison Ivy, Robin and Darkseid as a pre-order bonus.
Injustice 2 will release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One May 16.
