The latest trailer for Injustice 2 has been released and gives fans a glimpse at the story of the DC Comics fighting game before its May release.
In the Injustice 2 story trailer we have a small recap of the events of the first game, where Batman has become the new protector of the world. An ominous voice narrates the whole story, stating that those heroes who have sworn to protect the world have condoned some not-so-heroic actions.

The trailer shows some in-fighting between the heroes as Supergirl makes her presence known and we actually see glimpses of upcoming new characters.
Robin is the first new character shown, as he is fighting Batman. There’s been a lot of heroes who took up the mantle of Robin but this Robin has a hood. The narrator says “offspring turns into adversary,” which may mean we’ll be seeing Damien.
Poison Ivy is teased briefly in the Injustice 2 trailer and it’s finally revealed that the narrator is Brainiac, one of Superman’s best-known villains. The rumored Darkseid pre-order bonus is also confirmed.
There will be a special Twitch stream on Jan. 24 showcasing the gameplay of a brand new character over on the NetherRealm Studios channel, so be sure to check that out.
Injustice 2 will release May 16.
