Enchantress , the second DLC fighter for Injustice 2’s Fighter Pack 3, just released and is available to download now for PS4 and Xbox One. But owners of either console know it’s not easy to have her appear on the character select screen (especially for PS4).
Add-ons like DLC don’t always download automatically when they appear in either the Microsoft or PlayStation stores. If you want the new fighters on the Injustice 2 roster you can manually find and download them.
Players who own the Injustice 2 Ultimate Edition, or have purchased the season pass, can download Enchantress on Jan. 9. However, if you are looking to purchase Enchantress by herself and not a season pass then you’ll need to wait a week.
On the first day of a new character release, Injustice 2 does give all players a chance to play as the new fighter on the roster in a special multiverse tower that will last for one week.
But if you’re ready to download Enchantress onto Injustice 2 and are having trouble finding her, check out these steps for PS4 and Xbox One.
On PS4, players can verify content has been downloaded by doing the following:
- Visit the Injustice 2 page on the PS4 Home Menu or Game Library.
- Select the game and scroll down to the "Related Items" section at the bottom. It should be under PlayStation Store at the bottom.
- From the My Add-ons section, manually download individual pieces of owned content.
- Players who own the Ultimate Edition, Deluxe Edition or Fighter Pack 3 can also click “View All” to see store options. The DLC should be available for “Free” if it has not been downloaded.
On Xbox One, players can verify content has been downloaded by doing the following:
- Go to My Games and Apps.
- Locate Injustice 2 and press Menu.
- Select Manage Game.
- Scroll all the way to the right on this menu to see what DLC is Ready to Install, and start those installs.
If Enchantress is still not playable after the DLC has downloaded successfully, try the following:
- Start the game and get to the Main Menu.
- Allow the game to Idle for a minute or two, long enough for an AI battle to automatically start.
- Once the AI battle has started, you can interrupt it by pressing any button.
- Enchantress should now be available to play if you own the DLC.
- Go into the online menu for a few moments, then return to the main menu. Enchantress should be available to play.
