Fans of Injustice 2 are getting character confirmations very frequently as we gear up towards the May release, and now it seems gameplay footage of the upcoming Injustice 2 mobile game has popped up online. The footage shows some fighters that have not been confirmed in the console version.
The Injustice 2 mobile gameplay footage confirms the returns of Cyborg and Green Lantern. while Batman villain Scarecrow makes his Injustice debut.
Check out the Injustice 2 mobile gameplay footage (thanks to AllStars Production ) and you’ll find Scarecrow (around 5:44), Cyborg (around 7:14) and Green Lantern (10:49)
Of course, just because these characters are in the mobile game doesn’t mean that they will make the jump to console. We saw that when Static, Darkseid and others were added to the original Injustice mobile game after support for the original game was discontinued.
Cyborg and Green Lantern seem like shoe-ins to make it to Injustice 2, considering their status in the Justice League and that Atrocitus is on the hunt for Hal Jordan.
All of this is unconfirmed for Injustice 2 on console until the characters are officially announced by NetherRealm Studios, so take this with a grain of salt. The Injustice 2 mobile game hasn’t been officially announced yet either, so there is no release date for the upcoming title.
Injustice 2 for console will release May 16.
