Jukely, the monthly event subscription service that lets you pick an unlimited amount of concerts to attend (Well, only one-a-day but hey), have just launched their native Android app. Jukely users have access to a whole host of events in cities worldwide, with the venues that have signed up with Jukely allocating a certain amount of spots to the concert or festival specifically for Jukely users.
“If you’re broke it doesn’t mean you have to stay at home. You can literally get into a different concert per day from $25/month as long as you’re adventurous with the artists you’re willing to see,” Founder and CEO of Jukely Bora Celik said to iDigitalTimes. “I was a promoter before [founding Jukely] so I already dedicated my life to introducing new music to people. With Jukely instead of doing it in one city we’re doing in worldwide.”
Jukely is currently available in Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, London, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, New York, Philadelphia, Portland, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto, Washington DC and more. The service has two pricing tiers, with the $25/month tier designed for a single concertgoer and the $45/month designed for two people.
Previously only available for iOS, Jukely requires the use of a smartphone’s GPS service so users’ can check into a venue. While there was a web version of Jukely available, it was cumbersome in comparison with the functionality of the iOS app, according to Jukely’s FAQ.
“We’ve always been aware of the large chunk of Jukely users using Android devices and we’re excited to finally give them a new tool for using Jukely,” Founder and CEO of Jukely Bora Celik said. “We really wanted to optimize and streamline the user experience on their mobile device, and introduce the Jukely experience to a whole new group of potential power users.”
While you have to be a Jukely subscriber to see all of Jukely’s available lineup, Jukely does offer a preview here, and they also offer referral based contests for free tickets.
“It’s the same thing except, you’re busting moves with your fellow rockers and ravers sweating on the dance floor while exercising,” Celik said when iDigitalTimes asked him the difference between a Jukely subscription and a gym membership. When we asked Celik how he would describe the service to his grandmother, all Celik had to say was, “Grandma, remember that feeling?”
