A new update is now live in Seven Knights Idle Adventure that launches a really interesting collaboration. That's because it's with The King of Fighters '98 and adds new heroes to the roster. Of course, there's the usual limited-time events which offer rewards.
The King of Fighters '98 is a game that's typically praised by the fans as the best installment in the King of Fighters series. Despite it being more than 25 years since the game first made its debut, it continues to receive strong support from the fans.
Two New Heroes
As part of the update, two new characters from The King of Fighters '98 ae now playable heroes in the game. These are:
- Kyo Kusanagi
- A melee-type Legendary hero.
- Has an active skill that increases his critical hit rate as he deals damage to enemies.
- Damage is amplified if the target is burned during a critical hit KYO while increasing his allies' attack points.
- Mai Shiranui
- A melee-type Legendary hero.
- Decreases the Evasion stat of multiple enemies and grants the Burn debuff.
- Her active skill increases her critical hit rate when dealing damage to her enemies.
- Players have the chance to get this hero through The King of Fighters '98 Collab Challenger Pass until May 29.
In-Game Events
In celebration of this new collaboration, there are various events launched which are available until May 29. These are:
- The King of Fighters '98 Collab Special Rate Up Event
- Players have a higher chance to summon The King of Fighters '98 Collab Heroes.
- The King of Fighters '98 Collab Special Check-in Event
- Obtain the Collab Heroes by logging into the game during the event period.
- Checking in on Day 1 provides players with Mai Shiranui.
- On Day 4 players get Kyo Kusanagi.
- Collab Hero Selection Tickets are offered for players who log in on Day 7, 10, and 14.
By the way, players also get to experience additional new content like the introduction of Stages 14,401 to 15,200. Get ready to see the debut of the new Legendary Hero Iris.
Seven Knights Idle Adventure is based on the Seven Knights game and can even be seen as a successor to the original title though it's been reimagined as an idle RPG. It was developed by focusing on low capacity and low specification devices but keeping in mind easy playability. Players get to experience an expanded storyline with previously untold episodes of the original Seven Knights heroes. Get to collect and nurture returning fan favorites who have been reborn as cute SD characters.
