Lineage 2: Revolution is gearing up for a major update, which is going to introduce a new race: the Kamael. The Kamael are going to be the sixth race introduced in the game after the Orc, which arrived last October.
The Kamael was a race created by giants to serve as a weapon against the gods. The Kamael are able to siphon souls of living things to be used in combat. Due to their volatile design and the fact that they can use dark magic, the Kamael only have one wing.
Unlike the other races already in the game, the Kamael have multiple unique features. For example, after the first class transfer they get access to three classes. The Berserker (Warrior) are able to use Ancient Swords as weapons while the Arbalester (Rogue) can use Crossbow weapons. Meanwhile, the Soul Breaker (Mage) Kamael get access to the Rapier weapon, which is ideal for close-combat attacks.
In addition to the new race, the upcoming update is also going to include the new "Dual Class" system. Here players can experience different classes for their characters. This function is unlocked once a player reaches a specific level after the second class transfer. There are no restrictions in selecting, as well as playing, a specific class.
The new update is also going to introduce a new server where players have the chance to receive additional rewards. Once the update is complete players can participate in various in-game events such as the Level-Up Boosting Event, as well as an event that gives out three full sets of Grade UR Equipment, the highest grade of its kind in the game.
Lineage 2: Revolution is now accepting pre-registration for the upcoming major update. Those who pre-register get the chance to receive at least 30 Enhance Scrolls once the update is available. Those interested can pre-register here.
