Let it snow! Turborilla

There’s good news for fans of the Mad Skills series of games. Prepare yourselves for the latest addition in Mad Skills Snocross, now available worldwide. Developed by Turborilla, it’s the first-ever snowmobile title in the series and clearly a sign of the studio’s plan to offer mobile games to a wider range of action sports.

The game is made possible through a partnership with Amsoil Championship Snocross. For those not familiar, the Amsoil Championship Snocross is the world’s largest snowmobile racing series. It is through this collaboration that the game is able to offer replica versions of real-world race tracks. There are also immersive and fun events that tie the game to real-world professional racing.

Easy to Play but Difficult to Master

Similar to all Mad Skills games released prior, Mad Skills Snocross offers a side-scrolling physics-based racing game that’s “easy to play but impossible to master.”

There are more than a hundred challenging tracks for players to try and test their skills with more set to be added in the coming weeks and months. Players can also look forward to daily challenges and online events where they get to race against their friends and other contenders. For a more personalized gaming experience, players can customize their in-game riders and sleds. In the future, there’s a plan to include real-world brands as part of the customization.

In a statement, Turborilla CMO Bryan Stealey shared that they’re excited not only about this new game but also being able to work with Amsoil Championship Snocross. He added that the team at Amsoil Championship Snocross has long been running a first-class racing series and having those elements in the game is good for players and fans.

The Mad Skills Series

The release of this new game is a sure surprise to many fans of the series. After all, it hasn’t been long since Mad Skills Motocross 3 came out. That game was launched in May 2021 and has since been downloaded at least 30 million times worldwide.

One of the reasons why the Mad Skills Motocross franchise is getting to be well-known to a lot of players is because of the strong reputation in real-life motocross and action sports. Mad Skills Snocross pretty much follows the same formula. At its core, it’s an arcade-style side-scrolling racing game. However, there are also elements of physics realism along with other details that’s sure to appeal both snocross racers and enthusiasts and action sports fans in general.
