It’s November and that means Thanksgiving, which in turn means the annual Madden Ultimate team promotion to go along with the holiday. This year EA Sports has introduced The Ultimate Feast promotion inside Madden NFL 17 and Ultimate Team.
This year, all users of Ulitmate Team will receive one Ultimate Feast Starter Pack, which will have one food item and two tips. Those tips will teach you everything you needs to know about the Ultimate Feast program and how it works for the month. The fun then begins as you work to add a Gold Thanksgiving player by accomplishing the following inside the 12 solo challenges that become available:
- 4 Thanksgiving solos
- 3 total pass TDs
- 50 total rush yards
- 10 total solo tackles

You are probably wondering what you have to do with random cards of turkey, ham and other Thanksgiving food cards. Well, those cards you collect during the promotion can be used to trade in for seven players. Once you accumulate 30 food items, you use those cards to turn your challenger player card into a champion card. Here are the seven players available for your food cards.

- Travis Frederick
- Ryan Shazier
- T.Y. Hilton
- Dak Prescott: Champion (limited time)
Something not easily noticed is the seven players that you can get with those food cards are players who all play on Thanksgiving this season. There are three games this Thursday and how those players perform in real-life could affect their overall numbers. Those players, at their Champion level, could see their attributes go up permanently. Here is what these seven players have to do on Thanksgiving to see attribute boosts. (Note this set will no longer be available as of 12 noon ET Thanksgiving day as the first game will be starting at that time.)
- Anthony Barr: 7+ Tackles (92 OVR)
- Eric Ebron: 5+ Catches (91 OVR)
- Chris Baker: 1+ Sacks (91 OVR)
- Travis Frederick: 200+ Team Rushing Yards (93 OVR)
- Ryan Shazier: 8+ Tackles (92 OVR)
- T.Y. Hilton: 10+ Catches (93 OVR)
- Dak Prescott: Champion (limited time): 300+ Passing Yards (93 OVR)
The food cards can also be used to purchase other elite player cards and Ultimate Feast home and away jerseys. There is also a new Chemistry feature for these Ultimate Feast packs as playing with four players from this Thanksgiving pack on either offense or defense will increase certain attributes on either side of the ball. On offense, players will get +1 to Agility, Acceleration, Catching, Route Running. On defense players will get +1 in Strength, Tackling, Block Shedding, and Hit Power on defense.
