Runaways , a beloved Marvel comic about a group of teenagers who team up against their villainous parents, is coming to Hulu . No release date has been set. A Runaways movie has been rumored since 2008, but never came to fruition.

Josh Schwartz ( The OC ) and Stephanie Savage ( Gossip Girl ) will produce the live-action series alongside Marvel head Jeph Loeb, Jim Chory ( Daredevil ), and Lis Rowinski ( Fake Empire ). Runaways was created by Brian K Vaughan and Adrian Alphona.
Runaways marks the first time Marvel has chosen to partner with Hulu over Netflix for an original series. Netflix boasts the hit shows Daredevil, Jessica Jones , and soon Luke Cage , Iron Fist , The Defenders and The Punisher.
