Streaming game service Stadia can now add one more game in its small library. Monster Energy Supercross – The Official Videogame 3 (yes, that’s the actual name) is now available on Stadia. One interesting thing about this announcement is that the game is more expensive on Stadia compared to other consoles. You can purchase the game for $60, while its Steam price is only $50. This is not the only title to be priced higher on the streaming platform. Farming Simulator 19 is $40 on Stadia, whereas it is $25 on Steam.
Now, more about the game. Monster Energy Supercross is an AMA racing video game developed and published by Milestone SRL. It is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Switch and Stadia. The reviews of the game have been average, to say the least. The PS4 version of the game currently has a 6.7 User score on Metacritic, whereas on Steam it is marked as Mixed.
Google also announced that Joker is finally available for Mortal Kombat 11 on Stadia, and can be purchased for $6. Joker can also be obtained by buying the Kombat Pack season pass, which is currently on sale for $16.
Since its launch, Stadia have received a lot of criticism. The 4K graphics feature that was promised is still not available, basic features have been missing, and are no hard release dates for anything in sight. In January, it was announced that Stadia will have over 120 games, although now that number seems too high.
Yesterday, Nvidia launched its Geforce Now cloud-based gaming service, which you can even try out for free. It looks like Stadia will have to step up its effort as Nvidia will be bringing some competition.
