The process to redeem is the same as always. At the NBA 2K17 main menu, select “Options/Features” and choose “Locker Codes.” From there, enter the complete code with dashes included. If successful, a confirmation will appear on screen. You’ll see the onyx free agent freebie unwrap in all of its glory. The card’s overall stat is an 86, and it’s essentially a six-use trial version of Towns’ Sapphire Moments Card. Locker codes expire quickly, so be sure to enter it fast.
This Moments Card highlight arrives days after Towns dominated against the New York Knicks with a career-high 47 points and 18 rebounds. He’s had a solid year, and 2K Sports aims to recognize that.
NBA 2K17 has been privy to a steady stream of updates recently, including a November roster tweak with two honorary Moments Cards for MyTeam fans. The 1.06 patch also offered a series of much-needed gameplay adjustments. Locker codes are another way to keep players coming back for more.
We have a list of past locker codes as well, but most of them may be deactivated by the time you read this. Still, for anyone interested and willing to give it a shot, we’ll post the details below.
