New information about the latest Digimon game, Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory, has been revealed by Bandai Namco and it includes two female characters the main protagonist will interact with throughout the story.
Erika Mishima is the first new character revealed, a genius hacker who has the special power to link her brain with the EDEN server (a next-gen web service) and the ability to hack the EDEN network. From the new Hacker’s Memory screenshots, Erika’s partner Digimon is Wormmon. Erika will be the person your character, Keisuke Amazawa, turns to help him to figure out who framed him.
The other character introduced for Hacker’s Memory is Fei, who is described as a violent leader of the hacker group called Zaxon. She is a remorseless leader who enjoys ruining other people’s lives. Fei looks to be the, if not one, of the main bad guys you’ll encounter on your journey. The screenshots released show her partner Digimon as well.
Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory will have 320 Digimon to train and battle with. New screenshots confirm Griffomon, Guardromon, Hippogriffomon and SaviorHackmon as a handful of the Digimon you can find in the game. You’ll need these Digimon to help you figure out who is trying to set your character up while also getting to the bottom of a much larger evil plot.
Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth Hacker’s Memory will release for PS4 and PS Vita in 2018.
