A new Ni no Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom trailer takes fans on a brief tour of Goldpaw, one of several cities we’ll explore when the JRPG hits PS4 and PC. It’s not the world’s greatest tour, so set your expectations accordingly, but it’s probably because Bandai Namco and Level-5 want to ensure there are still some secrets left for fans to be excited about when fans finally get Ni no Kuni 2 on March 23.

The silent tour only takes a minute, give or take a few seconds, and lacks any supplementary information about Goldpaw. Streets and shops are completely empty. Bakeries and other vendor counters remain unmanned. All we see of most buildings is the exterior decor. But the trailer is a pleasant reminder that Revenant Kingdom, like its predecessor, will likely be remembered as one of the better-looking games of its era. Studio Ghibli isn’t responsible for the game’s art and animation anymore, but poaching a few of the studio’s employees was clearly the right call.

Some may be disappointed by the trailer’s brevity, but it’s not like there’s any shortage of Ni no Kuni 2 gameplay. PlayStation Underground recently published 25 minutes of new footage last week and Bandai Namco published an additional 25 on its YouTube channel late last month. A video on Bandai Namco Japan’s channel previewed new systems and mechanics (with new footage to match). The publisher even launched a behind-the-scenes video series in January, spotlighting story and character creation, and Bandai Namco brought Ni no Kuni 2 to several conventions (including E3) in 2017.
