A new update has been released for New State Mobile, which introduces a crossover with Among Us. From April 21 to May 19, New State Mobile players can try to see if they have what it takes to survive as an Impostor in an Among Us -themed mini-game.
There are also new in-game items and newly added props on the Troi map, to name a few.
Here are the details of this new collaboration:
- Experience The Sting of Betrayal of Among Us on Troi’s Starting Island
- This mini-game is based on the core mechanics of Among Us.
- Players can participate in a themed mini-game before the start of a match on Troi.
- When squads enter the Starting Island, they can play a quick game of Among Us before the start of a match.
- One member of the squad is randomly assigned as the Impostor while the remaining members try to avoid getting killed by the Impostor.
- The Impostor can use weapons to eliminate squad members during the mini-game.
- Dress To Kill (Like an Impostor)
- By buying special themed crates, players can get different in-game items, such as masks, coats, innerwear, backpacks, weapons, and vehicles
- Crewmate Props Infiltrate Troi
- During this collaboration, players may be more on edge than usual as they come across a variety of Among Us crewmate-themed props scattered on Troi’s Starting Island and its Chester and Anchorville points of interest.
- Earn Rewards During an Among Us Event
- Beginning April 21, players can join in a special in-game event that requires them to complete a variety of unique missions.
- Completing these missions earn players an Among Us -themed frame, title, icon, and more that can be used to add colors to players’ in-game profiles.
- The more missions players complete, the more items they can earn.
In a statement, New State Mobile Executive Producer Minkyu Park revealed that they are excited to partner with Among Us since the two games have the same goals. He added that they have worked hard to bring Among Us in the game.
Meanwhile, Among Us developer Innersloth Community Director Victoria Tran shared that they’re happy to have collaborated with New State Mobile for this new concept that both communities can enjoy.
New State Mobile is available on Android and iOS.
