The first official trailer for the live-action series Fallout has finally been released. Based on the best-selling video game series, it's set on a post-apocalyptic wasteland that's brought about by a nuclear war. The show is set t be released through Amazon Prime Video on April 12, 2024.
The release of the trailer comes a few days after Amazon gave us a first look at some of the images. The shows the lead character Lucy stepping out from Vault 33 and trying to make sense of what's happening in the world. Along the way she gets told that if she wants to stay on the outside that she'll need to "adapt." The trailer then proceeds to show us what to expect like the Brotherhood of Steel, the mutated animals, and other characters.

The story is set 200 years after the apocalypse and follows a community of people that's been living in fallout shelters. They're forced to return to the irradiated land left behind by their ancestors and are surprised to discover a rather complex, weird, and highly violent world waiting for them.
Meet the Characters
Even before the teaser trailer was released, Amazon had already given a preview as to some of the characters we're going to be meet in the show. There's Lucy, who's being played by Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets). She's an optimistic Vault Dweller having that all-American can-do spirit. She has a rather peaceful and idealistic nature and this is tested once people harm her loved ones.
Another character is Maximus, played by Aaron Moten (Emancipation). Maximus is a young soldier hides his tragic past while serving in a militaristic faction known as the Brotherhood of Steel. He believes mission of the Brotherhood to bring law and order to the Wasteland and is not afraid to do anything to further those goals.
We also have the Bounty Hunter Ghoul played by Walton Goggins (The Hateful Eight) and Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks) in the role of Overseer Hank. Other cast members are:
