If you logged in to your Nintendo Miitomo app today you’ll see a notification from Nintendo indicating that a Miitomo update is coming.
The biggest part of this upcoming update is the implementation of connecting with friends via email. This is especially useful for those friends who do not have a social media account with Facebook, Twitter or Google Plus.
Nintendo also says that “other methods” can be used. Hopefully, you can connect with friends from your phone contacts. Being a mobile app, this seems like a no-brainer but we’ll have to wait to see once the update comes into effect.
Miitomo users will also be able to answer the same questions when viewing “all answers,” edit a Miifoto before you post it as a comment and some speed optimizations.
It’s unclear when this new Miitomo update will come to iOS and Android users but we’ll update as soon as it goes live.
Usually, Miitomo updates include clothing options and new mini-game drops but this will be the first substantial change in the app since its launch in March.
