A new update has been released for Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds and this one introduces a new story episode. Titled “The Fated Challenge Cards,” it focuses on the mysterious astrologist Gosling along with a special dungeon that players can explore.
Those able to clear the dungeon get various rewards like the Sunshine and Sirius Chance Chest. There are also unique episode-themed items including the rare Floaty-Dokey and Milky Way outfit and hat costumes.
Players can also look forward to a new game feature known as the Kingdom Academy. This is a temporary guild where new or returning players can experience Kingdom membership and receive many rewards. Once players reach a certain level, they graduate from the academy and obtain special Gilder currency as a gift for their accomplishment.
Mission Event
The new update brings limited-time events like Gosling the Astrologist's Mission Event. This event actually started February 21 and is set to run until March 22. For each day, players are tasked to complete missions and are rewarded for their efforts. Here are the four missions:
- Defeat Field Boss
- Use the Fuse Pot
- Check in to the Kingdom
- Defeat Monster in Normal Fields
The number of times a mission needs to be done increases each day. On day one, players only need to defeat three field bosses. On day five, they now have to defeat 11. With seven days given to accomplish these missions and four missions each day, a total of 28 missions can be done. Those able to complete all missions get the Astrologist's Cap as final reward.
Exchange Event
Another activity to join is the Bubbling Hearts Exchange Event from February 21 to March 22. During the event, Bubbling Hearts are going to randomly appear in Al-Khemi’s Lucky Pot. These can then be redeemed for the following items in the Exchange Shop:

By the way, Bubbling Hearts can also be earned as a reward in the Gosling the Astrologist's Mission Event.
