The September 2019 Community Day in Pokémon Go is still live, but Niantic has already announced some details for next month’s event. It looks like Pokémon trainers will have even more exciting things to look forward to!
For starters, October’s Community Day will go live on Saturday, October 12. This time around, though, players will be able to have more chances of catching another Pokémon originally from Ruby and Sapphire – Trapinch.
Throughout next month’s event, the Pokémon is expected to appear in the wild more often than normal. Even more so, players will have a chance to encounter a shiny version of the Pokémon for the very first time. Add to this the fact that the Ant Pit pocket monster is capable of learning a special event-exclusive skill if you are successful in evolving it into its final form Flygon. Just keep in mind that you have until the end of the Community Day to achieve the evolution. Unfortunately, Niantic has yet to unveil the specifics of the Pokémon’s attack.
Apart from increasing the spawns of Trapinch, the Pokémon Go developer is going to offer a number of other bonuses during the October Community Day. And this time, players will be earning three times the usual amount of XP when they capture a Pokémon during the event. As expected, any Lure Modules players have will last for at least three hours rather than the usual 30 minutes.
You can learn more about next month’s Community Day via the official site of the mobile game.
In the meantime, Niantic has already released the highly anticipated Gen 5 Pokémon in Pokémon Go. The new wave of pocket monsters arrived as part of the title’s final set of Ultra Bonuses. Alongside the new generation of Pokémon, the developer has also introduced a new evolutionary item known as the Unova Stone. Basically, it can be used only for evolving certain Pokémon from the Gen 5 wave. It is definitely an exciting time to catch and evolve Pokémon!
