Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix is officially launching today. If you’re a fan of Nickelodeon, then you’re in for a treat. Grand Prix features more characters and slime-filled tracks inspired by many of Nick’s iconic franchises.
Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix is available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch for $39.99.
This new game serves as a sequel to Nickelodeon Kart Racers, which was released back in 2018. Playable characters in the first game include those from the shows SpongeBob SquarePants, Rugrats, Hey Arnold!, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
When the first game was released, one of the criticisms was a lack of characters from Nickelodeon. Well, Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix is going to answer that with a bigger roster of playable characters from Nick. Racers players can choose from include those from the first game like SpongeBob SquarePants, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Rugrats, and Arnold from Hey Arnold! Some new characters joining the fun are, among others, Lincoln of The Loud House, Invader Zim, and Korra from The Legend of Korra. Even JoJo Siwa is joining the race. Overall, there’s going to be 30 racers compared to 12 from the first entry. Clearly that’s a big increase.
Get to assemble your very own racing team with at least 70 bonus Nick characters that can be part of your crew. You can even customize your kart with parts that are inspired by the many Nickelodeon TV series.
Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix offers 28 new and reimagined tracks. There’s even going to be two brand-new battle arenas. During races, players need to fill their slime bar in order to pull off what are clearly ridiculous jumps. They can even use special power-ups and attacks. Players can also compete with friends through different game modes. A maximum of four players can race it out in local split-screen multiplayer. There is also online multiplayer that allows for up to eight players.
Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix is being published by GameMill Entertainment and has been rated E by the ESRB.
