A new trailer for NieR: Automata is out this week, spotlighting the many weapons available to 2B in the upcoming action RPG, and we finally know when NieR: Automata is headed to PC.
Our latest glimpse of NieR: Automata surfaced on Square Enix’s regional YouTube channels. The new trailer, Arsenal of Elegant Destruction, features a collection of short gameplay snippets -- some of which have appeared in previous trailers -- that spotlight the variety of weapons at 2B’s disposal in the upcoming game. There aren’t any big revelations in the clip, and all of the people and places featured in the trailer have appeared in previous NieR: Automata videos, but this is what most of us expect to see during the final countdown for highly anticipated games.
An alternate version of the trailer, uploaded by Gematsu, also provides a firm timeline for NieR: Automata’s Steam debut. PC gamers won’t get to play NieR until March 10, three days after it hits PS4 (in the US), but that’s hardly the longest wait we’ve ever seen for a PC port. It’s not clear why the information was omitted from the video published by Square Enix NA; however, there’s little reason to doubt the validity of the Gematsu upload.
For a closer look at NieR: Automata, take a few minutes to watch the new trailer from Square Enix and Platinum Games (via Gematsu). Then head down to the comments and let us know if which platform you’ll be playing NieR: Automata on when the game debuts next month.
NieR: Automata is in development for PlayStation 4 and PC. The game will make its console debut on March 7, followed by a Steam debut on March 10.
