The Overwatch Anniversary 2021 is here, celebrating the fifth year of Blizzard’s popular hero shooter and with it, you can get new skins for certain heroes.
For frequent users of Doomfist, Junkrat, Sombra, Moira, and Baptiste, you will be happy to know that there will be new legendary skins you can get directly from loot boxes.
Players of Ana, Wrecking Ball, and Echo will have a chance of getting their epic skins as rewards from the weekly challenges. Each week will have a different epic skin up for grabs starting with Ana on week one, Echo on week two, and Wrecking Ball on week three.
The condition for getting each character epic skin is to play 27 games. These could be any of the in-game activities, such as Competitive Play, Quick Play, and Arcade. It is worth noting that winning any of these games counts as two “games played.” For example, if you win five games, that will count as 10 in total.

Returning Events
In the spirit of celebration, the game developer has decided to bring back all past seasonal events for you to enjoy in the form of Brawl.
Each day from May 18 until May 28 will have a different seasonal event. For instance, the Summer Games will be available on May 18, while the Winter Wonderland will come back on May 21.

Lastly, for people who want to collect items from past events without going through the hassle, they can now buy Anniversary Loot Boxes from the in-game store.
Purchasing 50 Anniversary Loot Boxes will give you a Legendary Loot Box as a bonus. What’s special about the Loot Box is it guarantees at least one legendary item.
