Patch 3.17.2 is now available for Path of Exile. This update brings adjustments to the Corrosive Hunger debuff. It also contains a lot of improvements and bug fixes.
The Infinite Hunger is one of the Eldritch Horrors introduced in the Siege of the Atlas expansion and is located in the Seething Chyme. When players fight the Infinite Hunger, they will get Corrosive Hunger, which is a debuff that stacks indefinitely.
Back then, the debuff gave a -400 reduction to armor and evasion rating per stack. But now, it has been changed to -1% physical damage reduction and -1% chance to evade per stack. This adjustment makes the debuff a lot more bearable than before. On top of that, stacks of Corrosive Hunger are now removed completely when the boss drowns you and teleports you away.
Highlights
- Oil that has been set alight is now treated as Burning Ground, and applies a Burning Ground debuff, rather than Burning Oil

- Fixed a bug with Kirac Missions where Shaper- and Elder-Influence was not applying correctly to Maps
