March is not yet over but it seems Pokémon GO can’t wait to share what’s planned for next month. The game has already released the list of events for April, and it includes usual events along with new ones.
Trainers can look forward to learning what Team GO Rocket has planned. It seems that Giovanni is set to have Shadow Zapdos in his hands. Don’t worry since there’s still time to stop their plans. All Trainers need to do is finish the Team GO Rocket Special Research titled "The Higher They Fly." After that, they get to earn a Super Rocket Radar that can help track Giovanni. This event starts April 1 and lasts until April 8.
Beginning April 1 to May 1, everyone has the chance to encounter male Frillish in Research Breakthrough encounters. On April 11, join the April Community Day that features Snivy. During the Community Day, trainers can evolve Servine (Snivy's evolution) to have a Serperior that knows Frenzy Plant.
New Events
Stopping Team GO Rocket isn’t the only new event. Expect these events next time:

- Trainers can keep an eye out for Chansey, Blissey, and Happiny wearing flower crowns.
- Keep watch as well for other spring- and Egg-themed surprises.
- Rivals’ Week

- The event features Pokémon that are rivals.
- Sustainability Week
- Period: April 20 to April 25
- Details:
- Trainers can look forward to this sustainability-themed event.
- Pokémon like Grimer, Trubbish, and more appear more often in the wild.
- Friendship Day
- Period: April 24
- Details:
- It’s time to celebrate friendship with a brand-new event.
