Pokémon Go is launching a special event in celebration of its integration with Pokémon Home. This was first announced back in September of this year. With this, Trainers will now be able to transfer Pokémon from Pokémon Go to other games like Pokémon Sword and Shield.
You won’t have to wait long for the event since it started today, November 17 at 8:00 AM and runs through November 23 at 10:00 PM, local time.
Here are the details of this special event:
- These Pokémon are going to appear more often in the wild:
- Alolan Sandshrew
- Zubat
- Alolan Diglett
- Slowpoke
- Magnemite
- Ditto
- Porygon
- Hoothoot
- Remoraid
- Whismur
- Lileep
- Anorith
- Cottonee
- Foongus
- These Pokémon are set to hatch from 5 km Eggs:
- Nidoran ♀
- Nidoran ♂
- Slowpoke
- Omanyte
- Kabuto
- Lileep
- Anorith
- These Pokémon are going to appear in raids:
- Alolan Vulpix
- Slowpoke
- Those lucky enough may get to find a Shiny Slowpoke.
- Magnemite
- Shinx
- Timburr
- Klink
- Event-exclusive Timed Research rewards Trainers with, among others:
- Pidgeot Mega Energy
- Poké Balls
- Berries
- Encounters with Slowpoke and Gible
- Event-exclusive Field Research tasks reward encounters with Pokémon like Slowpoke and more.
- Mega Pidgeot receives a CP boost during the event period.
- Activate the Mystery Box during the special event for a chance to encounter a Shiny Meltan.
- It seems these Shiny Meltan go back into hiding after the event is over.
- From Monday, November 16 at 4:00 PM to Tuesday, November 24 at 4:00 PM, these Pokémon are going to be available for Trainers to challenge in five-star raids:
- Cobalion
- Terrakion
- Virizion
- There’s going to be special avatar items available, including:
- Melmetal Jacket
- Melmetal Vest
- Melmetal Shoes
- Grand Oak’s Glasses
November Events
There’s still a lot of events for Trainers to take part in this month. There’s the City Spotlight initiative, which is on November 22. However, this is only limited to four cities for now. Learn more about that here.
