Pokémon Masters EX is introducing four new sync pairs to the game. These are Leon and Charizard, Marnie and Morpeko, Champion Iris and Hydreigon, and Diantha and Gardevoir. Once all pairs officially arrive in the game, that means Pasio now has Champions from every region of the Pokémon world.
Welcome the Galar Region Pairs
The first new pair coming to the game is the Galar region Champion Leon and his partner Charizard. The two are considered as a master sync pair, and the difference with the usual sync pair is that a master level has a passive skill, which gives the entire team a boost.
After that, Marnie and Morpeko, both from the Galar region as well, will arrive in the game. The second pair features culinary-themed moves like Hangry Mode and Full Belly Mode.
New Events
When the pairs arrive, several in-game events will follow. For Leon and Charizard, there’s the Champion Time Story event which starts today, February 25, and ends March 17. In this event, players get the chance to watch different Galar Trainers go against other top Trainers from other regions.
Marnie and Morpeko, meanwhile, are getting an event titled Yell and Dream that runs from March 3 to March 17. For this one, Marnie is ready to show just what Trainers from Spikemuth Gym can do.
Celebrating the Pairs
Pokémon Masters EX is also holding a retweet rally. For this event, players need to retweet the trailer on the game’s official English Twitter and Japanese Twitter. It’s set to end March 2 and if enough retweets are made, all players get these:
- 3,000 Gems
- 60 5-star Guaranteed Scout Tickets
- Enough to use the 5-star Guaranteed Scout two times
Other Events
The remaining sync pairs - Iris and Hydreigon, and Diantha and Gardevoir - will arrive in March. More details to be released at a later date.
Pokémon Masters EX also announced that it is celebrating one and a half years since its launch. From February 25 to March 30, players get the chance to earn as much as 10,000 Gems.
