The first official Prison Break still photo has arrived. Featuring Dominic Purcell and Sarah Wayne Callies, the image (according to EW) depicts the moment Lincoln first tells Sara that Michael is alive.
Along with the photo, EW also got hold of four storyboards that tease a big car chase scene in the Prison Break premiere episode. These hand-written descriptions of each scene suggest it’s not just Michael (Wentworth Miller) who is in danger. Lincoln and Sara’s newfound knowledge will also put their lives at risk.
“If people start finding out that Michael is still alive, then it puts their larger secret agenda at risk,” executive producer Paul Scheuring informed EW. “They’ll kill anybody that finds out.”
The storyboard below describes a scene where Lincoln’s car runs into an 18-wheeler truck. Linc’s vehicle eventually bursts through a guardrail and he goes flying through the windshield and plunges into a creek.
It’s not been made clear who Linc is running from, or why they would care if he breaks Michael out of prison. Michael must have gotten into some serious trouble with the wrong dudes in the eight years he’s been missing. Previous comments from Purcell suggest Micahel got caught up with a terrorist organization in Yemen. However, Purcell didn’t confirm if Michael has been in prison this whole time, or if his encounter with ISIS landed him back behind the wire.
Prison Break Season 5 is expected to premiere early 2017. Stay tuned for more updates and new Prison Break footage as San Diego Comic Con approaches.
