This month’s free games for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita have been announced. How do they stack up to the competition? Well, they’re good, but not quite on Microsoft’s level. Let’s see what we have this month below. All games will be available to download starting April 5.
PS4 Games
The first game coming to PS4 in April is Dead Star. This team-based space shooter features RPG elements and big explosions. Games eventually become 10v10 affairs, so get ready to fly.
The second game for PS4 players is Zombi. This remake of ZombiU features survival-horror gameplay and a genuinely creepy London to make your way through. This is a pretty short game, so good thing it’s free.
PS3 Games
The first game coming to the PS3 in April is I Am Alive. This survival game forces players to meticulously manage resources, as things like health and ammo are scarce. Expect plenty of exploring across an urban wasteland while you fight off other survivors.
The second game coming to PS3 in April is Savage Moon. This strategy game looks like someone made a Starship Troopers Tower Defense game. That’s about it.
PS Vita Games
The first game coming to PS Vita for free in April is A Virus Named TOM. This puzzle game sees players take on the role of a computer virus that must get into any and everything to infect it. Featuring upgrades like glitches, A Virus Named TOM also features multiplayer components as well.
The last game coming in April for PS+ subscribers is the game Shutshimi. This side-scrolling shooter stars a fish that is apparently on a mission to blow up everything else, including sharks, squids and even submarines.
So what do you think? Are you excited to download and play any of these games on your PlayStation consoles? What do you hope comes for free in May? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
